Ben-Hur is not a character in the Bible. However, a popular novel by Lew Wallace titled "Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ" features a fictional character named Judah Ben-Hur, who encounters Jesus Christ during his journey. The story is set in the first century AD and follows Judah's life as a prince in Jerusalem, who is wrongly imprisoned and later becomes a loyal follower of Jesus after witnessing his crucifixion and resurrection. The novel has been adapted into several films and stage productions, including the 1959 film starring Charlton Heston.
